Learn to draw a cow

Today we want to look at how to draw a cow. Painting a cow is usually not easy. Because many fail because of the proportions and because of drawing the four legs well. But if you look closely at a cow, you realize that it too consists of simple basic shapes: circles, rectangles, and lines. As always withdrawing, you just have to know how! By the way, it is worthwhile to draw more difficult animals once in a while. Over time you will become more and more confident in judging distances and sizes correctly. But of course, it’s also ok if you want to start with something simpler. For example, learn to draw a crab, a sheep, or a cute unicorn.

Step by step to the popular farm animal

When you draw the cow, pay special attention to the correct spacing. The legs are particularly tricky. So don’t just quickly draw the little circles somewhere. Look closely: how dense are the circles on the body? Are they all the same height? If you connect the circles with lines, you will surely notice that the legs of cows have a direction. The front legs are almost straight. The hind legs, however, appear bent to the right. This may seem strange to you when drawing, but it makes your cow even more realistic. If you observe carefully here, you will learn to draw well in the long run. Because drawing and painting has a lot to do with observation. When you’re done, trace your image cleanly once with a black pen. Then you can draw in the cowhide pattern. It’s fun and you can feel free to come up with your own pattern.
