Activities with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier

A Staffordshire Bull Terrier needs a lot of exercises and can therefore not only spend hours sleeping or waiting for owners. Daily walking and free-roaming are compulsory.

Activities that allow the Staffie to really burn off some energy are the ones they enjoy the most. Agility and flyball, for example, offer opportunities here. Other sporting activities are also desired, with the Staffie particularly fond of jumping.

If you would like to travel with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, this is usually uncomplicated given its size. The fact that the dog is not so shy and remains friendly even with strangers is another advantage when travelling.

Note: Since the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a list dog, you should inform yourself before traveling to other countries, as there are different requirements in the EU alone. At best, a muzzle and leash should therefore not be missing from your holiday luggage.

Due to the development of a family dog, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier has become very adaptable, which is why it is possible to keep it in the house, but also in an apartment. Please note, however, that the Staffordshire Bull Terrier needs a lot of walking and sport to compensate for living in an apartment or with a little exercise in the small garden. Otherwise, you have to expect problems such as noise and damage to furniture.
