#4 Both parents should have passed health checks and have papers stating the dog has been tested for and does not have specific diseases.
For bulldogs, you should be able to see health checks from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hips, elbows, and knees, and certifications from the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF) stating the eyes are normal.
#5 Health certificates will not be issued for dogs under the age of 2 years.
This is because some health problems don't appear until the dog is fully grown. It is therefore often recommended that dogs are only used for breeding from the age of two or three.
#6 In general, bulldogs can have many health problems.
They are wonderful dogs, but make sure you are willing to monitor the dog's health at all times and can pay for any medical treatment.
