#7 Epilepsy
This is a neurological disease that is often, but not always, inherited. Epilepsy can cause mild or severe seizures, which can include the dog behaving abnormally (pacing around as if being chased, staggering, or hiding), collapsing, stiff limbs, and loss of consciousness.
Seizures are difficult to watch, but the long-term prognosis for dogs with this condition is very good. It's important that you take your dog to the vet to get an accurate diagnosis (especially since seizures can have other causes) and get the right treatment.
#8 Hypothyroidism
This is a disease of the thyroid gland that is believed to cause diseases such as epilepsy, hair loss, obesity, lethargy, dark skin patches and other skin disorders. She is being treated with medication and diet.
#9 Beagle Dwarfism
With this condition, the dog is smaller than normal. The condition may or may not be accompanied by other physical abnormalities, such as extremely short legs.
