A happy and balanced dog needs an environment that suits him. Brittany Spaniel has an enormous need for exercise and loves to hunt.
He needs a lot of exercises and new impulses, again and again, otherwise he gets bored and becomes insufferable or sick. He is particularly happy when he has a job to do and can take long walks with his human.
#1 Sports such as dummy training, agility or obedience are ideal for a Breton Spaniel.
Here he can move and is mentally challenged at the same time.
#2 In a city apartment, the Brittany will hardly be happy.
A house with a large garden where he can run around with the children is more suitable. Here you can build a course that he has to master. He also enjoys ball games from time to time.
