The Pekingese breed has internal independence, however, at the same time, it is very attached to its owners. However, the Pekingese can be a surprisingly stubborn dog, which cannot be said given their modest size.
They have an inherent pride and dignity, which is not surprising given the history of these animals. Accordingly, they demand respect for themselves, and if they receive it, then they also respect their master and family. Pekingese need early socialization, as they have an internal hostility towards other dogs and strangers – this attitude must be eliminated. This will make life much easier not only for yourself but also for your pet, making its character more open and harmonious.
