#8 The breed was saved by the Italian Giovanni Nice, who gathered the remaining dogs from all over the Iberian Peninsula and created the world’s first kennel.

#9 On October 18, 1983, Professor Fernando Casalino, Jean Antonio Sereni, Dr. Stefano Gandolfi, Giancarlo and Luciano Malavasi created the Society of Cane Corso Lovers, which has carried out extensive research work in the south and north of Italy.
