#10 Probably the most famous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was Queen Victoria’s dog Dash, who accompanied her from childhood to her reign.
The dog was ten years old and got her own grave in Windsor Home Park. Her epitaph reads: "Here lies DASH, Her Majesty Queen Victoria's favorite spaniel, in her 10th year. Her devotion was without selfishness, her cheerfulness without guile, her faithfulness without deceit. READER, if you wish to be loved and the mourned, heed DASH's example.”
