The Bichon's voice is very clear, loud, so they can cause senseless noise in the apartment. It doesn't matter if this is how the dogs attract attention, whether they are trying to play with the owner or scare away an intruder who passed outside the door - sometimes it starts to annoy. Of course, a dog can be weaned from violent reactions, but this is a matter of quality education, which few owners succeed in.

Contrary to popular belief, small dogs don't necessarily feel comfortable in apartments - some are too energetic to live in a high-rise building. But this does not apply to Bichons - they perfectly adapt to apartment life.
