#11 It is an interesting fact that over 100 Saint Bernard puppies were used in the making of this film. This was because Saint Bernard pups have such a fast growth rate that the filming and production couldn’t keep up with the growth of the puppies.

#12 There is a famous painting from 1820 by a painter called Edwin Landseer. This features a Saint Bernard wearing a neck barrel and is titled ‘Alpine Mastiffs Reanimating a Distressed Traveler’.
