10+ Things Dachshunds Don’t Like (the Last Ones Surprised Me)

Why do they like dachshunds? Of course, for the beauty: a long back, a proud profile, lovely ears! But at the mention of the golden character, the owners usually avert their eyes. Dachshund is a wayward and stubborn animal. Add to this the habit of resting in the owner’s bed, to which the dachshund has a historical right: dogs were taught to sleep in the bed in the 17th century. The pet was supposed not only to warm up on cold nights but also to protect the owners from rats.

Dachshunds are loyal companions and excellent watchmen – perfect for families. They get along with children if they treat them well, but are a little hard to train.

Don’t be tricked by their small size…they can still force you to cling to the edge of a king-sized bed.
