Dalmatians are not only known since the Disney classic “101 Dalmatians”. Already in remains from ancient Egypt, there are drawings that look very similar to this breed. From there they probably first spread to Asia before arriving in Europe – although their name probably goes back to the Croatian region of Dalmatia.
