Depending on their weight class, Boston Terriers are divided into the categories “light” (up to 6.8 kg), “medium” (6.9 to 9 kg), and “heavy” (9 to 11.3 kg). With a maximum height of 43 cm at the withers, they are among the small mastiff-like dogs. Their short coat has no undercoat and is glossy on healthy animals.
