Although Border Terriers rarely start a fight, they will not back down when there is a fight.
They are sensitive and sociable without showing it too strongly. They like to stay close to their owner, or at least keep a close eye on what’s happening. Most Border Terriers are fond of children. However, children must be taught to respect their pets like any other dog, especially when they are sleeping or eating.
